Viking Athletics
Ocean County College has a rich tradition of
excellence in the classroom, community, and
on the playing field. Quality team athletic
programs have been the backbone of the
college since its inception as the first county
college in New Jersey in 1964. OCC Viking
student-athletes are part of a program of
state and national prominence. We have
been consistently ranked among the top
10 community college athletic programs in
the nation and have won national, regional,
and conference awards for sportsmanship,
community service, and academic and athletic
excellence.
